How do I access Criterion Channel on my Android TV?

You can add the Criterion Channel to your compatible Android device (Android TV 1st Generation devices and higher are supported.) by logging in to your Google account online and visiting this link.

Alternatively, search for Criterion Channel or “Criterion” while browsing Google Play Apps on your Google device and add it directly on your TV. 

If you already signed up for a Criterion Channel subscription at CriterionChannel.com or using a different device:

1. Open the Criterion Channel App on your Android TV
2. Select the Sign In option.
3. The screen will present you with an activation code. 
4. Using another device such as a smartphone or tablet, go to the activation page (http://www.criterionchannel.com/activate) to log in.
5. Enter the activation code showing up on your Android TV and click Activate.
6. If you have any trouble logging into CriterionChannel.com, you can reset your password here: https://www.criterionchannel.com/forgot_password
7. Your existing Criterion Channel account should now be linked up and you can start watching the films!

If you would like to sign up for a free trial using your Android TV::

1. Open the Criterion Channel App on your Android TV.
2. Select Start Free Trial
3. Enter your preferred email address for the account and be sure to check that everything is spelled correctly before proceeding. If you try entering an email address for an existing account, you will be presented with an error message.
4. Select if you want a Monthly or Annual subscription. Each one starts with a one time 7-day free trial.
5. Please note that you cannot change this selection after the free trial begins. If you change your mind about the billing frequency, you will need to cancel prior to the end of the free trial and then subscribe again once the trial expires and your access ends.
6. Unless Google Play payment is already set, you will need to add your payment details at this stage. 
7. The system will present your free trial details one more time before you can select “Start subscription.”
8. You can use the same login details to access CriterionChannel.com or stream on any other compatible devices.
